Meet the inventor of World accepted system of government, Tupocracy
It is no more new to
the global space that Nigerians are making headway in putting the name of their
dear nation on the global map and here again, another record-setting moment to
celebrate.
RECENTLY, Nigeria recorded another
first on the world the stage when one of her proud sons became the first
African-born inventor of the world accepted a system of
Government, TUPOCRACY meaning leadership by
example. Unlike Democracy, Aristocracy, Oligarchy, Autocracy,
Gerontocracy etc, an Akwa Ibom born Godwin Akpan Amaowoh has
registered Nigeria’s international image in golden light with TUPOCRACY to
prove that Nigeria is a Country blessed with Supper Legends, Stunning Record
Breakers, Amazing World Changers and enterprising self-made Change Agents, a
little more than one Country could have.
Shortly after been inducted into the
Nigerian Books of Record in the inventors categories alongside great Nigerian
international inventors like the Nigerian-Amerian Philip Emeguali, the Man that
invented supercomputers popularly known as the father of the internet, Amerian
based Jelani ALIYU, the man who designed the world most expensive Car, the
Nigerian – British Alexander Amosu, the inventor of the world most expensive
suit and the Nigerian-German base inventor of pinball, Amaowoh’s TUPOCRACY hits
the world center stage an took the world by surprise as a number of European
countries and commonwealth nations have indicated interest to host Amaowoh all
over the world for his invention of TUPOCRACY which Means leadership by
example.
A day before the induction,
the Nigerian Books of Record, NBR had a chat with Amawoh about his
expectation for the world acclaim system of Government, TUPOCRACY which
has launched into international communities. He spoke about the difficulty he
encounters as a black African in getting acceptability from the European
nations for his invention. But when he spoke about what he thought of after
creating TUPOCRACY, there was an unmistakable optimism in his tone, almost to
the point of braggadocio. “I’ve dreamed about the moment they say, ‘and the
first African inventor of a world-class system of Government is Godwin
Akpan Amaowohfrom Nigeria” and the whole world is drawn to me because of my
invention,” Amawoh told the NBR.
Rev. Dr. Godwin Akpan Amaowoh is
a Multi-gifted International and Motivational Speaker, Bestselling Author,
Pastor and Bible expositor with special revelation insight into God's engrafted
word. A man of integrity with unquestionable character, a lover of God and a
Philanthropist who has succeeded both in Private life and Ministry.
Born November 29, 1959 in MbiabongIkon
1, Ikono LGA, AkwaIbom State. Rev. Dr. Godwin Akpan Amaowoh had his
primary education at the Methodist School, Nung Ukim and got his First Leaving
Certificate with Merit level in 1973. He became Best Student in
WASCE at Ikono People’s High School, Nung Ukim in 1978. He worked as a
clerical officer with the Ministry of Education; Cross River State between 1979
to 1980 and resigned for further studies at the College of Education, Uyo
where he studied Geography and History.
Dr. Amaowoh underwent his
compulsory NYSC at Birabi Memorial Grammar School, Bori, Ogoni between 1983 to
1984. He was employed as a classroom teacher by the River State Secondary
Schools Management Board in 1985 as a Hardworking, Honest and Diligent Copper
who also contributed immensely to the moral transformation of the Staff and
Students. He did this also in all the school where he taught, Government
Secondary School, Tebidaba and Bodo, Ogoni. Resigned for full time Preaching
Ministry with the Assemblies of God, Nigeria in 1989.
Rev. Godwin Amaowohwas at The
Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Uyo in 1991 where got a Diploma in
Theology with Distinction. He obtains his B.A., 1st Class in
Biblical Studies and Theology from Assemblies of God Divinity School of
Nigeria, Old Umuahia in 1997. Amaowoh got his MA in Religious Studies from
the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State in 2002. The servant of
God, Rev. Dr. Godwin Akpan Amaowoh obtained a PhD with Distinction in
Religious Studies, New Testament from the University of Nigeria, Nsuka in 2006.
He began his Ministerial work as a
worker in Assemblies of God Nigeria and grows to be in many leadership
positions in the Christian Community where he served meritoriously at various
times as Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary, CASOR President, Organizing
Secretary for the Christian Union, College of Education, Uyo; Chorister, Ardent
soul-winner, Intercessor and Zonal School Coordinator for SU Nigeria, Bori
Church Pastor, Section Leader, Missions and Men’s Ministries Coordinator, LMTC
Teacher, Presbyter, National Youth Ministries Director, Care-Taker Committee
Chairman in three Districts, Chairman/Member of many sensitive Panels, District
Superintendent of Eket and currently the General Secretary, Assemblies of God,
Nigeria.
Pastor Amaowoh in the over
30 years of his full-time Ministry has similarly served meritoriously in
numerous Committees in the administration of the church and religious matters
in the country both within and outside Assemblies of God Nigeria. From a poor
family and remote village, where he had to trek long distances from his village
to both Primary and Secondary Schools in Nung Ukim, yet through hard work,
vision and determination, he was able to distinguish himself as a brilliant
scholar.
Between 2001 to 2007 when he served as
National Director of Youth Ministry for Assemblies of God, Nigeria, the man of
God was able to launch the Philosophy of Youths for Positive impact. This, as a
vehicle of social change, galvanized the Youths under his watch into
instruments of national development with amazing testimonies of impacts to show
in the lives of the youths. Today, many of his students and youths under his
mentorship had grown to become fully developed adults with humanistic successes
in their different professional areas of life. In 2007 one of his former
students presented him with a car gift, Ford Explorer as a living proof that
his mentorship had breaded bundles of successful men and women in society.
When he was appointed Caretaker
Committee Chairman for Calabar District of Assemblies of God, Nigeria in 2002,
Ahoada District in 2004 and 2005 and Eket District in 2007 based on the
constitution of the Church to bring peace and order to the affected
Districts, Rev. Dr. Godwin Akpan Amaowoh been an expert in crises
management and conflict resolution was able to bring lasting peace resolutions
to those Districts.
Having elected Superintendent of Eket
District in 2007, the legend served meritoriously till 2014 when he was
overwhelmingly elected General Secretary of Assemblies of God Nigeria and
reelected in November 2018. Rev. Amaowoh is a member of many Associations,
Boards and Panels including, Member of the Governing Council Evangel University
Akaeze, General Secretary BoT Assemblies of God Nigeria, etc.
He is an Impact Maker, a Humanistic
Revolutionary and a Philanthropist per excellence who has torched lives and
giving them meaning through awards of scholarships, sponsoring of indigent
students and providing for the needy. He is deeply involved in Community and
Social Development through the provision of water borehole and attracting a
road construction project to his Community. He has been consistently the
highest donor under the aegis of Mbiabong Ikon 1 Development Association, MIDA.
He has single-handedly attracted the Road Construction of the following
Communities: NungUkim – NdinyaMfia – Mbiabong Ikon 1 – Ibesikpo Road that is
ongoing by Cross River Basin Development Authority.
Pastor Amaowoh is currently building a
group of schools at Ikot Ekpene that will bring down high cost of school fees
for every family and the wards of the common man to contribute to educational
development of the Nation. Staff of National Bureau of Statistic on official
visit, had acknowledged the landmark contributions of this man of God to his
community and the world at large. Aside from the fact that a major Avenue at
the Shelter Afrique Extension in Uyo, the Capital City of the Land of Promise,
Akwa Ibom State is named after him, Dr. Amaowoh’s Community, organized a
reception for him and awarded him the title, Ambassador for Peace in 2008.
Rev. Dr. Amaowoh has contributed
to National Development through the writing of books, some of which are: Turning
Failure into Success; Adventure into Greatness, Youth that cannot be despised,
How to Succeed in your Academics, Biblical Principles of Prosperity, Divine
Exaltation, Tupocracy; Leadership by Example for Church and Civil Society,
Critical Issues in Successful Pastoral Ministry and Christian Service, Journals,
Radio Commentaries and Articles. His greatest contribution to the International
Community is the invention of Tupocracy as one word for leadership by example,
in the family of Democracy, Aristocracy, Oligarchy, Autocracy, Gerontocracy
etc. Tupocracy which was invented by Rev. Amaowoh during his Doctoral Degree
Research at the University of Nigeria, Nsuka was endorsed and recommended for
publication by the Board of Examiners with Rev. Fr. Prof. Vincent Nyoyoko as
External Examiner. Today, the usage of TUPOCRACY is monitored by a Dictionary
publishing firm seeking to include the supper word in its lexicon.
He is happily married to Comfort
Amaowoh, a retired Chief Health Educator with the Akwa Ibom
State Hospital Management Board and is blessed with Children and
Grandchildren.
