I will start a new story titled Finding the Real Me. It is for your reading pleasure. I will update this post as time permits me. Kindly drop your comments and let me know how you feel about the story.
For the sake of emphasis, I title this one, 'Finding the real me'

“Tony, why are you doing all these you once said you don’t want to do again? Or am I daydreaming? She questioned and continued. At least, today is not your birthday and not that I told you to help me do all these. Oh no you even remembered to get our favorite groceries. That’s interesting ” . Mum was glad I shopped for her without telling me. Why are you not talking son? She asked with a tone of seriousness. Or have you won heavy money from your sports betting? Just as she rounded up her talk, I dipped my hand into my pocket and handed her my letter of admission, neatly wrapped. I was really pampered all through . Mum can be strict, but she is such a caring mother any child will crave to have. “ So young man, you’re now going to the university ehn ? “ Yes mum I just  can’t wait to be there ” “But I want you to give your heart to my words for they are all right for you ” “Ok mum. You have my ears, I replied ” “ You see,  university is not like a secondary school. I can tell you that  it is more like a bigger city of students where you meet several kids from different background. I mean cultural and family background. Listen Tony. Mum often calls me Tony when she is ready to sound a heavy warning. “ I don’t want you to keep the wrong company. Go to classes, learn, attend church programs on campus and return to your hostel. And if there be need for you to visit your uncle whose quarter is not far from your hostel, then do so on time and return to your place. Do you understand? “ Yes mum”.
